LOCATION GUIDE
PLEASURE HOUSE POINT
Pleasure House Point is a beautiful wide-open space with sand, tall beach grasses, and pine trees/greenery which offer a variety of backgrounds. There are beautiful views of the Chesapeake Bay as well but I wouldn't consider this a beach location.
THE NORTH END
The North End is private, residential beach access which means it's rarely busy like the Virginia Beach Oceanfront
can be, especially during peak/busy season. This portion of the beach has a ton of really beautiful dune grass
and a small wooden boardwalk leading out to the beach.
BACK BAY WILDLIFE RESCUE
Back Bay Wildlife Rescue is a hidden gem in Virginia Beach, so it's rarely crowded! The walk to the beach has tall trees
and beautiful greenery surrounding a boardwalk. Then once you get out to the beach you'll see small dunes and lots of dune/seagrass. This location is ideal for those interested in a location near the Sandbridge area.

THE NARROWS AT FIRST LANDING STATE PARK
Technically, this isn't a beach, it's inland on a lake but it has a beach feel! Since it's part of First Landing State Park it has trails and downed trees to give it more variety other than just beach - think greenery, trails, and marsh grass.

Being a state park, there is an entry fee: $7 weekdays/$10 weekends. In addition, photographers are required to have a permit to shoot there ($35 fee) and give at least 30 days' notice, so please keep that in mind when considering this location.

THE SIGNATURE AT WEST NECK
The Signature at West Neck is actually a recently closed golf course, but it has really beautiful tall grasses and mature trees surrounding the course. Depending on the time of your session, that will determine whether or not you have residential homes in the background, though I do my best to artistically crop/blur them out of the background.

This is a great option for those who live in the Strawbridge/Courthouse/West Neck areas of Virginia Beach.
MUNDEN POINT PARK
This beautiful park has a lot to offer! Tons of beautiful, mature trees with water in the background, and some portions of the park have water access. This is a great option for those who live in the Strawbridge/Courthouse/West Neck areas of Virginia Beach.
