Jess was my college roommate (#goblue) and whenever I venture home to the mitten I always make a point to try to see her! We don’t talk nearly as much as we’d like (hello motherhood!) but when we get together we always pick up right where we left off as if nothings changed. She is the sweetest person with a huge heart, always giving 100% of herself to her family and friends, it’s one of the things I admire most about her.
From college roommates to being in each others weddings and now walking through this season of motherhood together she’s one of my best friends and I was truly overjoyed and honored to take photos of her adorable peanut, Maxx, and snap a few family shots as well! They recently moved into their forever home, which happens to be located on lots of land with rolling hills and tall grasses galore. When Jess and I talked about taking photos there was no question that we’d be shooting at their new home because it’s just too perfect not to, just wait until you see how beautiful it is! The sun may not have been out, but you can certainly feel the warmth and love in their family pictures! I hope you enjoy their session as much as I did photographing this sweet family!
